It’s clear that Sledgehammer Games is out to capture an authentic look at the conflict of World War II. From the visuals, to the sounds, to the story, Sledgehammer says it has gone to great lengths to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the second World War. In the trailer, the developers at Sledgehammer can be seen visiting and documenting the actual locations where many of the game’s battles took place, scanning vehicles and equipment then reproducing them in-engine, recording the sounds of weapons, and watching historical footage taken during the war....

Over the years, there have been many Call of Duty Zombies maps released, and not all of the Easter eggs, modes, and weapons that Treyarch initially plan out make the cut. Over the years, dataminers have found some incredibly interesting cut content from the various CoD Zombies modes, and some of it would have been a lot of fun to experience. Fortunately, if the long-rumored Zombies Chronicles 2 actually happens, Treyarch would have a chance to restore some of this content....

Leaked a week ago by LongSensation, a reputable source who has accurately revealed a number of prior Call of Duty details, it seems Activision is looking to reveal something big about the franchise’s newest sequel during May. Although the leaker didn’t clarify what this news might be, he did post a gif on Twitter, showing two helicopters that look eerily similar to models used during the Vietnam war, perhaps hinting towards when the game will take place....

Not only is the extra information easy to miss, but to understand it, players will need to be able to read Russian. Shortly after the tease pops up, fans will see the words “know your history” appear on-screen. Moments after that, just for a second, another two lines of text appear. Images of the Warzone Night Mode were sent to ModernWarzone and shared on Twitter. They show the Warzone starting animation, with player characters preparing to jump out of the airplane. However, it’s dark outside and the plane is lit up with green lights. Other users responded to ModernWarzone’s tweets to say that they encountered a similar animation in their games, only for the actual match to look perfectly normal....

Call of Duty: Warzone is a beloved game by much of the community, but unfortunately it is marred with glitches, cheaters, and exploiters. The most recent issue has been a return of the stim glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone. The issue was supposed to have been fixed recently, but that doesn’t seem to have been the case. After months, the dominating Roze skin was finally nerfed back in June 2021, where the skin was made more visible the further opposing players were. Picking off from the end of DLC 2’s The Shadowed Throne Nazi Zombie adventure, the team must now trek a path across country and continent through a newly unleashed horde of zombies. The pieces of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa’s sword have been gathered and now they must be united. The forge of Thule is the goal, the frozen north the destination. And as the new trailer shows, that magical sword is going to be worth the effort....

Obviously the title is rated M for Mature as is standard with the Call of Duty series, but it’s the rating summary that really drives the decision home. It seems that COD: WW2 will feature some pretty hardcore moments that would certainly not be suitable for a younger audience. The summary is as follows: The rating goes on to say that there will also be limited swearing in the game, though this seems to be a minor factor when compared to the extremely violent picture that the summary has painted for us....

The announcement is a confirmation of the leaked release date that was kicking around online a few days ago. Today’s announcement added a few details about Call of Duty: WW2’s single player campaign story that were revealed in last week’s leak. We now know that gamers will take on the roll of Private Daniels, who’s a part of the US 1st Infantry Division as they make their way through the European theater of World War II....

The upcoming title is from Treyarch and Sledgehammer games. Many fans are expecting it to be a Black Ops reboot, but there may be something more interesting in the works. The codename being used for Call of Duty 2020 is Project Zeus. Although this could mean several different things, Twitter user TheGamingRevolution has his own solution to the puzzle. With fan anticipation growing, it is only a matter of time before the reveal of Call of Duty 2020 later this year....

Battle.net, Blizzard’s online multiplayer service that hosts the Call of Duty games on PC, is now referring to Call of Duty 2021 as Call of Duty: Slipstream. Now, it’s entirely possible that this logo is a placeholder and that the game’s title will actually be something very different. Slipstream could be a codename for the new Call of Duty game, as opposed to the name that will actually appear on the box when it hits store shelves....

Treyarch perfected the art of collector’s editions through Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, as both games’ most expensive bundles leaned heavily into content based on Zombies. Not only is the Zombies community extremely passionate, guaranteeing interest in these editions, but the mode is full of unique weapons and items that could be turned into expensive real life props. As such, Treyarch has only scratched the surface with Zombies merchandise, and a collector’s edition for Call of Duty 2024 would surely be exciting for longtime fans....
