Call of Duty fans were worried earlier this week when the official Sledgehammer Games Twitter account appeared to be no more. Twitter users who tried to go onto the developer’s Twitter page were told by Twitter that the Sledgehammer Games account doesn’t exist. Some began to think the worst as the disappearing act by the Sledgehammer Twitter came after sources revealed that Sledgehammer had been demoted from Call of Duty 2020, and would now be supporting new lead developer Treyarch....

Tournament mode in Call of Duty Mobile is, as the name implies, where competitive players will go to test their abilities against other top players. Since Ranked Play in Call of Duty Mobile is focused on squads, Tournament is focused on individual players or duos. Shortly after Call of Duty Mobile launched, a Zombies mode was added. While it had some interesting concepts like boss fights and objectives, as well as some classic maps to play on, the co-op mode never took off. In response, Zombies was surprisingly removed in March of last year, with TiMi Studios stating that the mode did not meet its standards when it came to quality. The Warzone glitch makes it so that some players can approach and attack their enemies without getting killed themselves, similar to a glitch in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Reddit user RaviVora randmoly encountered the glitch and shared a video of it via the game’s subreddit. The glitch put RaviVora’s team in a frustrating situation, as there was no way to take first place with an unkillable enemy on the map....

Amos Hodge, creative director at one of the free-to-play game’s developers Raven Software, announced that Armored Trucks were removed from Solos to help “tone down” the vehicle meta via Twitter yesterday. Many leaks suggest that Call of Duty: Warzone’s new map will take players into the 1980s. While this has not been confirmed, subtle updates to in-game locations seem to be hinting at a similar fate.
