Call of Duty Zombies replicas are not unheard of, as fans have previously shared real-life models of the Ray Gun and the Ice Staff from the map origins. Recently, YouTuber Nick Martinelli brought Zombies’ Wunderwaffe DG-2 to the real world, with the gun’s signature lightning blasts replaced using fire. In Martinelli’s Wunderwaffe showcase, the first step to the DG-2’s creation is 3D printing — the same method used for a brand new Thundergun replica....

As reported by VGC, Call of Duty: Warzone is supposedly adding a new map to coincide with the release of Call of Duty 2021, believed to be releasing under the title Call of Duty: Vanguard. This would be in contrast to how Rebirth Island debuted in Warzone, as that map didn’t come until some time after Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launched. But if this leak is accurate, that won’t be the only difference between Rebirth Island and the new Warzone map....

These planes will supposedly be coming in Call of Duty: Warzone’s Payload game mode. Debuting as part of Season 4 Reloaded, the mode will be unlike anything the battle royale game has ever seen. Pitting two teams of 20 against each other, Payload will task players with escorting a caravan across a specific part of Verdansk. Like Overwatch’s Escort mode, one team will have to stop the attackers, which can be done by killing them or building barricades....

The hype has been building for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile since its announcement in March. This excitement was fueled by the reveal that the fan-favorite map Verdansk, originally playable in Call of Duty Warzone, would be returning as a playable map in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. In the final shot of the Modern Warfare Season 6 trailer, an overhead view of Verdansk is shown that indicates where exactly players can go to search for the subway tunnel entrances when the update arrives. While the subway area does not lead to areas such as the prison or dam, it still covers most of the map....

The Resistance DLC for Call of Duty: WW2 is the first substantial post-launch premium content for the best-selling game. In a new feature piece on the upcoming historical shooter in Edge magazine, Condrey revealed that the development team visited many locations around Europe in an attempt to bring a level of authenticity to Call of Duty: WW2. While this proved to be very useful in getting the little details right, such as the weather and terrain, Sledgehammer’s Europe trip also helped inform the development of Call of Duty’s revamped Zombie mode....

Call of Duty players can complete various daily challenges to gain additional XP. This will help them level up faster so that they can unlock new Field Upgrades and guns in Modern Warfare 2. Challenges offer a huge variety and encourage users to try out new tactics they won’t otherwise utilize. The game’s official Twitter account is a daily barrage of information on the event, with its latest being a short countdown video to tease the big reveal of what it calls the “next generation of Black Ops Multiplayer....

The video is titled simply “What you’re made of” and presents the reoccurring hooded character from previous tapes. Although the message is as cryptic as ever, it does set fans’ minds aflame with theories and possibilities. Although the video is not as puzzle entrenched as other content on the Call of Duty site, it did drop an interesting clue for the game’s community to understand. Whether players prefer the grenade corner on Nacht, the catwalk on Der Riese, or the trains of Shi No Numa, all maps have their fans - yet Verruckt consistently stands out as the least popular. This is evident in the fact that, while it has been remastered in Black Ops and Black Ops 3, it has not received a reimagining like the other World at War locations. In Treyarch’s next game, that should change, as Verruckt deserves just as much love as the other maps that helped Call of Duty Zombies grow....
