Seven new Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, which the battle royale is rebranding to for the release of the new map, screenshots were shared by Activision Blizzard in total. The Caldera map will be of similar size to Verdansk, so there’s a lot of ground (and air) to cover. A majority of the screenshots focus on a major new Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific feature, which is the addition of planes, but several key new locations are also a focus....

Given the newness of the map, many people are continuing to uncover new areas as they explore. Recently, one gamer known as spartan3319 discovered a hidden location on the new Caldera map that they’ve named the “Batcave.” In a video captured by the player, they revealed how to find the spot. Based on the details from the clip, the cave can be found near the Power Plant location on the extreme south side of the map....

The item in question is a Loadout Drop, something that should be extremely recognizable to Call of Duty: Warzone players. After all, these drops are crucial to winning a match, as they allow players to equip their weapons of choice and get perks that will help them greatly as the match progresses. As such, the first thing players often do is gather money for a Loadout Drop, getting access to their class before attempting to win a match....

The FiNN LMG was first introduced to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in season five of that title before being migrated over to the Call of Duty: Warzone variant of the series. The new Call of Duty: Warzone update fixes an issue with Bunker 3, a Riot Shield glitch, and an exploit in Zombie Royale. Infinity Ward does not specify which exploit it fixed in Zombie Royale with the latest update, but it’s possibly referring to the spotter scope glitch that essentially gave players a built-in wallhack. Durable Gas Masks have also been removed from Warzone, though it’s unclear why that is....

The main change that NICKMERCS seems to be doubtful of is the leaked planes. Found in the code for the game, the FaZe co-owner specifies that the “planes with a turret” could be frustrating. While Krampus has continued to be a major thorn in the side of Call of Duty Vanguard players, other bugs and issues have also added another layer of frustration. The previous banning resulted in 20,000 players getting the boot from Call of Duty: Warzone as the EngineOwning software was detected on players’ accounts, with many of these cheaters disappointed by the ban wave. While EngineOwning itself doesn’t apply any one specific cheat, it is a sort of virtual vehicle for players to enable aimbots, wall-hacks, and permanent UAVs in order to gain an unfair advantage in an online match....

At least usually there is, but the fate of 2020’s Call of Duty seems a bit more uncertain this time around. Tons of leaks and rumors have noted significant development troubles for this year’s entry in the iconic shooter franchise. June has now gone by, several months late from when an annual Call of Duty game is typically teased or unveiled. With Activision and Treyarch completely silent despite the swirling rumors and reports, it’s very possible this year’s Call of Duty may break the annual release schedule....

Besides confirming Sledgehammer Games to be the studio for the new Call of Duty game, Activision also touched on the new CoD’s relationship with Call of Duty: Warzone. Activision confirmed that Call of Duty 2021 will integrate with Call of Duty: Warzone, but stopped short of explaining exactly how significant the integration will be. There have been rumors that Call of Duty 2021’s Warzone integration will not be as dramatic as it was with Black Ops Cold War, but that remains to be seen....
