To start, Activision wants to make abundantly clear that Call of Duty: Warzone’s new map is, at its heart, intended to deliver a parallel if not better experience than what players currently have on Verdansk. The Pacific map is just as large as Verdansk, and it’ll feature the same kind of robust post-launch support that Verdansk received, including weapons and content earned through seasonal battle passes. The Numbers event offers plenty of rewards, as there are nine challenges to complete in Call of Duty: Warzone. Another nine challenges are available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, with the objectives ranging from earning 25,000 multiplayer score to winning a Demolition game. This makes 18 rewards in total, with a special Sai melee weapon unlocked for completing all the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War challenges or all the Call of Duty: Warzone ones....

A popular post on the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit mentions bringing back red doors for Caldera, saying that they could work by taking players back to secret areas in Verdansk. The post was clearly intended to be more of a joke than a serious suggestion, spinning out of players wanting Verdansk back to replace Caldera. In addition to the hacking issues, Call of Duty: Warzone has seen its fair share of glitches and bugs as well. Some have certainly been game breaking, such as players finding their way under maps in order to easily kill the other team, while others have ranged from hilarious to simply annoying. This latest bug found by the community certainly falls into the harmless and fun category as players managed to cause some very odd and interesting things to happen during a match....

Once Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases later this year, content will spill over into Warzone. Warzone will feature some of the themes, weapons, and operators that are found in Black Ops Cold War. New content will be added to the seasonal Battle Pass and Store post-launch that will be shared across both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Once Black Ops Cold War launches, the game will introduce a new leveling system that will later connect to Warzone which will allow players to unlock content in both games....

A few bugs have appeared on the scene in Season 5, such as the graphical glitch bug which renders some guns in Warzone unusable. A major glitch like this is getting a fast-track fix because it is detrimental to the game, but some likely aren’t going to be addressed for a while. It is difficult for a developer like Infinity Ward to figure out just what to prioritize when a new season reveals a host of big and little bugs....

Fueling the rumor is the fact that Duhamel just recently started following the official Call of Duty Twitter account, which has taken on a full Call of Duty: WW2 makeover leading up to the official reveal for the game. Further searching of Duhamel’s Twitter account reveals a tweet from last month that features the actor in a full mocap suit, which now many are speculating is connected to Call of Duty....

As seen in the tweet below from the official Twitter account associated with Call of Duty: WW2, Captain Butcher of the game’s Headquarters mode can be seen in a dynamic image wearing what appears to be a uniform related to St. Patrick’s Day, as four-leaf clovers rain down all around him. What’s more is that the text underneath the GIF reads, “Good luck is hard to come by, soldier,” which looks to be an indication of an event coming that’s related to the annual cultural and religious celebration....

The studio worked on series entries Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and, most recently, Call of Duty: WW2. It also has been confirmed that Sledgehammer Games will be developing the Call of Duty title slated to release this year. Rumors have circulated that it will be a follow-up to Call of Duty: WW2 titled Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard, but nothing specific about the title has been revealed as of yet....

First and foremost, gamers can expect a new seasonal event with a WW2 setting starting August 21 and ending on September 3. Acquiring soldiers from multiplayer play and weaponry from refining weapons in the gunsmith, players will use these to attack Axis nodes on a war-torn map of Europe. This strategy game tasking players with finding different routes through the map is a very different kind of event for the on-the-go title, and it will be interesting to see how Call of Duty Mobile fans feel about it going forward....

Die Rise was the first DLC Zombies map for 2012’s Black Ops 2. While Black Ops 2 Zombies had its flaws, as maps like TranZit and Die Rise remain divisive to this day, it closed incredibly strong. Mob of the Dead, Buried, and Origins were all great DLC maps, with each boasting a unique tone and style. Mob of the Dead told an excellent story through a standout setting, Buried perfected the formula of the Victis maps, and Origins gave players access to the mode’s best Wonder Weapons alongside new versions of the original crew....

The Resurgence game mode is designed to be a faster-paced version of the normal Call of Duty: Warzone Battle Royale gameplay. With a maximum player count of 40 players, a smaller map, and a squad respawn replacing the gulag system, Resurgence matches often last about 15 minutes instead of the usual 30.
