As detailed by developer Raven Software, Season 5 introduced a lot of changes to the Caldera map inside of Warzone. Outside of the visual changes including an active volcano spewing molten lava and flaming rocks onto the map, one of the biggest changes would be made to the lighting system behind the scenes. Witht he island storm now cleared up, Raven intended for the sunlight to be a bit more vibrant as it peeks through the lush jungle and billowing smoke from the now active volcano....

A Twitter user known as BreadisModding recently pointed out that the URL for an upcoming Call of Duty blog post mentions the next-gen launch of Warzone. Call of Duty fans aren’t able to visit this URL yet, but it has been confirmed as the official Warzone Season 5 URL. This means that PS5 and Xbox Series X/S fans of Warzone can expect to hear more between now and August 12....

After downloading the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 update, players will notice that there is now a large hole in the middle of the Verdansk airport. If they drop inside the hole, they will discover a bunker that has apparently been hiding underneath the airport this entire time. Caldera will release on December 8, taking players to a Pacific Island where the amount of buildings will be limited - though a large resort and a theater do feature. The season pass details a new sniper rifle and pistol coming to the games in Season 3, namely the SKS and Renetti. The SKS is a lightweight, semi-auto cabine that uses 7.62x399mm rounds. Described as a “hard hitting an agile Soviet-styl marksman rifle,” it focuses on utility and has a higher fire rate than other weapons in its class but can eliminate the need for that with a well-placed shot....

This discovery was sparked by the Call of Duty: Warzone Companion App that many players were using to cheat. By showing stats of players within certain lobbies, players were able to gauge their chance of winning early, and bailed on particularly high-skilled environments. Other major bugs have discovered that are related to the new Rytec AMR sniper weapon. While NICKMERCS has been playing Fortnite recently, the popular streamer and pro gamer recently made a return to Call of Duty: Warzone. Upon his comeback, the incredibly skilled player began using less popular weapons to find a dark horse candidate for the important role of “best SMG” in Call of Duty: Warzone.
