One bug that wasn’t initially mentioned was one involving the parachutes. For those who may not be aware, some Call of Duty: Warzone players have experienced a glitch where their parachutes will automatically deploy if they jump off steps or short ledges, which can be a serious inconvenience.

This was brought to the attention of Joe Cecot, Infinity Ward’s co-design director of multiplayer, who explained that the team has been trying to fix this issue. Fans can expect it to be completely resolved as part of an update midway through Season 5, assuming everything goes to plan.
While it’s good to know that a fix is in the works, fans may be a bit upset to know they’ll have to wait longer than they might have hoped. Season 5 isn’t set to begin until around August 5th and, assuming it lasts as long as previous seasons, the mid-season update may not arrive until the beginning of September. This means players may be waiting for another month to see parachutes fixed.
Infinity Ward is also intending to continue banning cheaters and hackers from the game, having posted on its Twitter that more banwaves are coming and instructions on how to avoid cheating. Time will tell, though, on how effective this will be in dissuading would-be cheaters.
As for Modern Warfare, its most recent update brought back the Gunfight mode, as well as a new variant called Gunfight 3v3 - Knives Only, and two 24/7 playlists based on two of the game’s most popular maps.
This year’s newest Call of Duty game, however, still hasn’t been officially announced by Activision, though with how much of it has been leaked, it may as well have been. Recently, the game’s title was accidentally confirmed by a Doritos promotion.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
