Over on Reddit, fans have been cooking up new ideas for Warzone, with some suggesting that its time for a new map. The idea has proven to be pretty popular, with many proposing new ideas for Warzone maps. One thread suggests Chernobyl as a potential map in the game’s future, but the thread includes plenty of other ideas too, including one that makes a fair bit of sense.

Reddit user StreetFighterXD suggested Urzikstan, a fictional country heavily featured in Modern Warfare’s campaign. One of the main factors making the idea seems possible, pointed out by StreetFighterXD, is that most of the assets should already be complete and able to be repurposed for a new Warzone map.

The comment cites several potential locations that the map could use, like Ramazza and Crash, two of Modern Warfare’s multiplayer maps. It even goes so far as to recommend Tobrak Prison, featured in Modern Warfare’s “Imprisoned” campaign mission, as a potential replacement for the Gulag.

It’s a well thought out idea, with other players contributing their own recommendations on the thread. Of course, Infinity Ward likely has its own plans for future Warzone maps, though, there’s always the chance that Infinity Ward is planning something similar, and the company has been fairly transparent with its fans, even releasing a community Trello board showing which issues are being worked on.

There’s no telling when players can expect a new map, and Warzone hasn’t been out long, so it could still be a while before one is released. However, fan speculation so far has been entertaining, leading to some cool ideas being kicked around online. One can hope that Infinity Ward listens to some of them, giving players new content to play for the foreseeable future.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
