Call of Duty: Warzone’s C4 is interesting as it can be used as a defensive or offensive option. Skilled players can detonate it midair, turning it into a sort of hybrid between a claymore and a grenade. That principle is used here to kill an unlucky player in an epic way.

Dakar manages to land this kill despite having little to no visual on his target, using the heartbeat sensor to give himself a better idea of where the enemy is. In the post, he does admit that it should have been a long shot but that he managed to thread the needle.
The clip begins with dakar318 on top of a roof in Verdansk with his squad. A quick look at the heartbeat sensor reveals an enemy is closing in on them via the stairwell which leads to the top of the building. These stairs are massive, spiraling upward for several floors, but that doesn’t deter dakar318 from taking the shot. As the opponent climbs up the staircase, dakar318 drops a C4 down the narrow pit, detonating it at just the right time to secure the kill and defeat the enemy.
His excitement is tangible even though he’s not on mic. As soon as the points for the kill register on the screen, dakar318 pauses and seems to look over at this buddy as if to say “did you see that?” He was only able to see the enemy for a brief second before the disappeared into the staircase, and though Warzone C4’s range is big, the timing had to be perfect because of the cover provided by the stairs. Too early and it would have been blocked by the stairs above, too late and it wouldn’t have pierced through the ground.
Impressive kills like this pop up in Call of Duty every now and then and earn praise from the community as they truly show how players are able to push the limits of the game.
