A great example comes from a recent Twitter video posted by Lance Pitcher, who seemingly outs a player for utilizing an unlimited health hack mid-game. The footage is undeniable proof that hackers are currently a major problem within Call of Duty: Warzone, as Pitcher and his friends fire hundreds of rounds into the opposite player as he stands there completely unphased.

The footage begins with Pitcher going up against his invincible enemy, firing an entire clip into him before retreating to heal up. He then returns to the battlefield to see his entire squad also unloading on their adversary to no avail, as he stands in the line of fire picking off Pitcher’s teammates one by one. The player then manages to sneak up behind the hacker, stealthily getting an assassination on him that should result in a devastating final blow. Yet, against all the odds, his foe pops right back up to his feet, continuing to fire away at Pitcher’s team and successfully killing them all.

Sadly, Pitcher’s first-hand account of hackers ruining his match is far from rare when it comes to Call of Duty: Warzone. Many other users have recounted times they’ve come face to face with enemies using shady means to secure a victory, with most of the game’s community calling for measures to be put in place to prevent hackers from spreading throughout the game. Some of asked for a simple report button, while others have called for more complex banning precautions, such as shadow banning or complete hardware bans. However it does it, Activision should look into sorting this problem before it becomes a major concern for Warzone’s wide community.

Regardless of these issues, Call of Duty: Warzone is quickly becoming one of the biggest battle royale games currently in the multiplayer space. It has recently amassed over 30 million players worldwide, with many praising the title as being the next huge release to stand alongside the likes of Apex Legends and Fortnite as one of the genre’s all-time best. However, it seems the game will have to deal with its hacking problem before it can truly claim that lofty crown.
