Many players were excited by what Season 4 of Warzone would bring and while there were substantial updates to equitable items and weapons many players are annoyed by fresh issues. While it should be noted that many players are still enjoying the Call of Duty brand of battle royale, players can be forgiven for being annoyed at map breaking glitches.

The latest problem, recorded by a popular Twitch streamer xcaliz0rz, shows the map not loading properly and other players have also experienced this mysterious issue. The video shows areas of the map that are completely missing and although it is unmistakably the Verdansk map, the chunks of nothing are less than ideal for a suspenseful game mode against online opponents. The streamer joked about how little they could see by commenting “Oh these are trees” while dropping into an unclear map and it seems that they have taken the incident in good spirits. However, players will be worried about this issue happening in their games. While this is not the only issue in Call of Duty: Warzone, it is a considerable problem for players that will impact their matches.

This issue appeared in the recently reinstated Quads game mode and players who have been happy to see it return will be disappointed to see this new problem. It will be interesting to see how Infinity Ward responds to the problem. While Infinity Ward may be reluctant to pull the Quads option again, it may be necessary if this map issue occurs frequently. For now, many players will hope that the problem is fixed in the next update for the title.

There is a constant stream of updates in Warzone and while they are mainly positive additions and changes, glitches do happen from time to time. The Call of Duty fan base is particularly vocal and with this in mind, it should not be too long before Infinity Ward is aware of the issue, if it is not already. Hopefully, this will mean Warzone players will have a fix soon.
