Warzone Rumble is similar to Team Rumble in Fortnite. Instead of having small teams of players, Warzone Rumble has two teams of 50 battle it out across Verdansk. Players don’t have to fight in the Gulag to come back to life, as Warzone Rumble has respawns, and they can also utilize their custom loadouts. It’s a completely different way to experience the Warzone battle royale, so it will be interesting to see how fans react to it in the days ahead.

The Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 update has also refreshed the playlists for both games. In Warzone, players can enjoy Quads, Trios, Duos, Solos, and Blood Money along with Warzone Rumble. Modern Warfare, meanwhile, has added a Trench Mosh Pit playlist so fans can check out the new 2v2 Gunfight map Trench, as well as a Scrapyard 24/7 playlist. Blueprint Gunfight has also been added to the mix.
Unfortunately, Infinity Ward has had to temporarily remove the Gun Game mode from Modern Warfare due to a bug. Once that’s been sorted out, fans can expect Gun Game to make its triumphant return to Modern Warfare. And later in the season, there will be even more new playlists added to the game, including a new version of the fan favorite One in the Chamber game mode.
How long any of these modes will last in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone remains to be seen. Infinity Ward likes to change up the playlists on a weekly basis, sometimes removing fan favorite content and getting significant backlash as a result. If Warzone Rumble is popular enough, it seems likely that fans will want to see it kept in the game on a permanent basis as opposed to just being available for a limited-time, so we’ll see what happens.
In the meantime, Warzone Season 4 should be adding even more content in the weeks ahead, so fans should have plenty to look forward to.
